About LeagueOrbit
One place for every match you play
Leagues, tournaments and the games in between, kept together for the people who play them and the people who run them.
Why I started LeagueOrbit
I have played pool in leagues and tournaments for years. Over that time I came to love the game, and the people who show up for it every week, as much as ever. What frustrated me was everything around the table.
Every league and every event kept its own records in its own system. My statistics from one league lived in one place, a tournament’s results in another, and the matches I played anywhere else weren’t recorded at all. There was no single place where my game, the whole of it, could be seen. And the tools that leagues and directors relied on were often missing features that players and organizers simply expect today.
I wanted one place to record every match, in every league and every tournament I play in. That is why I started LeagueOrbit.
LeagueOrbit does that, and much more. League operators run their leagues, sessions, schedules, rosters, handicaps and dues. Tournament directors run brackets, check-in, registration and table assignments. Players score their own games at the table on their phones, follow results live, and keep their statistics from every league and tournament on LeagueOrbit under one account, together with any other match they choose to record.
If you play or run pool, I hope it becomes the place where your game lives.

How LeagueOrbit compares
Pool software tends to be strong in one area: some products run a single association’s leagues, some are built for tournaments, and some for leagues. LeagueOrbit is built to do both, around one record of every match.
How to read this table. For other products, ✓ means the feature is advertised on the company pages we checked (linked under Published prices), and — means we didn’t find it advertised there (it may still exist). For LeagueOrbit, ✓ means the feature is built and in testing; LeagueOrbit opens soon. Checked October 12, 2026.

Why LeagueOrbit can offer more
- Leagues and tournaments in one platform. League nights, playoffs and tournaments share the same players, venues and results, instead of separate tools.
- Your results follow you. Your statistics from every league and tournament on LeagueOrbit come together in one account, and you can record any other match you play.
- One flat price for organizers. No per-player or per-team fees, so a growing league doesn’t pay more for growing.
- Built around pool. Racks, races, handicaps, break-and-runs and table assignments are part of the design, not add-ons.
Where others are ahead today
APA and FargoRate have national rating systems built on years of player data, and run sanctioned events and qualifiers that LeagueOrbit doesn’t. Several products already have phone apps in the app stores; LeagueOrbit works on any phone’s browser today, and its own apps are planned. Every product above is already in use, while LeagueOrbit opens soon.
Prices and features are taken from each company’s public website and app store listing on October 12, 2026 (APA’s fees from October 10, 2026), and may change. Sanctioned events: an APA league’s qualifier page and CSI’s BCAPL World Championships. Check each source. Product names are trademarks of their owners. LeagueOrbit isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
