Show your league on a TV
Pair a TV at the venue and show tournaments and standings in turn, with a message when you need everyone's attention.
The names and results shown are made up (the Maple Street Pool League is a demo organization).
Any TV with a web browser can show your tournaments and league standings. So can a streaming stick, a mini PC or a laptop plugged into the TV.
Pair a screen
- On the TV, open app.leagueorbit.com/tv. It shows a pairing code and a QR code.
- Scan the QR code with your phone and sign in if asked. Or open Setup → Displays on any device.
- The code is filled in when you scan. Otherwise type it. Give the screen a name, like Bar TV, and choose Pair.
Nothing on the TV needs a password. A code changes every 15 minutes.
Choose what it shows
- On Setup → Displays, find the screen.
- Under Add to this screen, choose a tournament or a league and choose Add.
- Set how many seconds each one shows, then choose Save. The TV changes within 20 seconds.
A tournament shows the matches on the tables, what's up next and the results. A league shows each division's standings and its next round. Only what's on the public page is shown.
On the free plan a screen shows one thing. The Organizer plan shows up to 8 in turn.
Put a message on the screens
- Under Take over the screens, tick the screens.
- Type the message, like "Finals start on Table 1 at 9 PM", and choose how long.
- Choose Show the message. End messages now brings back what they were showing.
Messages come with the Organizer plan.
Stop using a screen
Choose Unpair on its card, then confirm. The TV goes back to showing a new code.
