Use clocks in a tournament
Turn on a match clock and a shot clock for your tournament's matches.
The names and results shown are made up (the Maple Street Pool League is a demo organization).
Clocks are optional. When you turn them on, every match in the tournament can use them.
Turn clocks on
- Open the tournament and go to Setup.
- Open Clocks.
- Choose a Match clock: count up (time played) or count down from a set number of minutes.
- Choose a Shot clock and set the seconds per shot. Add extensions (how long, and how many per player in a match) and a warning if you like.
- Choose Save clocks.
Run a clock
Each waiting or on-table match shows a Clock link. Open it on a phone or tablet at the table:
- Start, Pause, Adjust and Reset run the match clock.
- Start shot clock starts each shot. Extension adds time for a player, up to their limit.
Your staff can run every clock. The two players in a match can run its shot clock from their own phones. When a clock reaches zero, you or the players decide what happens; the score never changes by itself. The clock closes when the match's result is saved.
