Pickleball Tournaments: Brackets, Round Robins and Courts
Create a pickleball tournament, draw the bracket, call matches to courts and record each match.
The names and results shown are made up (the Maple Street Pool League is a demo organization).
Pickleball tournaments use the same tournament pages as every sport, with pickleball games and courts.
Create the tournament
- Switch the Sport switch to Pickleball.
- Create a tournament and choose its Game: pickleball to 11, 15 or 21, with side-out scoring or rally scoring.
- Choose singles or doubles, and the format: single elimination, double elimination, round robin, or groups into playoffs.
- Set the Games to win for each round.

Chip and redraw formats and rating handicaps aren't offered for pickleball. For a series of events, run them as a multi-stop tour.
Entrants and the draw
Players sign up from the tournament's page. If you seed by rating, you can type each player's DUPR rating as their own number. LeagueOrbit does not connect to DUPR or send results to it. Singles results count toward each player's LeagueOrbit pickleball rating.
Check players in on the day, then draw the bracket.
Courts
Add your courts, then call each match to a court. Players get an alert when their match is called.
Show the bracket
- Share the public bracket page, with its QR code, so players and fans can follow along.
- Put the bracket on TV displays at the venue.
- Add your sponsors to the bracket page and displays.
Results
Record each match's games won. Players can also report their score from their phones; matching scores move the bracket on and differing ones wait for you.
A scorekeeper can also choose Score on the pickleball scoreboard on a match and score it rally by rally at the court; Save the result sends the games won when it's over. If that court is streamed, its overlay shows the live score (games, and the points in the game being played) until the result is saved. See Pickleball Scoreboard.
In a round robin, the standings update as results come in. They rank by wins, then head-to-head, game difference and games won:
