Let players register online
Open registration from the tournament's public page, with a waitlist, questions, entry requirements and a check-in cutoff.
The names and results shown are made up (the Maple Street Pool League is a demo organization).
Players can sign up for your tournament themselves from its public page. They need a LeagueOrbit account. You see who signed up, with any answers they gave.
Open registration
- Open the tournament and go to the Entrants step.
- Under Registration, tick Registration open. You can also set a closing time.
- On the Organizer plan you can add a waitlist. When a spot opens, the next person can be moved in automatically or offered the spot for a few hours.
- Choose Save registration settings.
- On the Share step, make the public link, short code or QR code and send it to players.
Ask questions and set requirements
Open Entry requirements, rating range, check-in cutoff and questions:
- Entry requirements: for example "The venue is 21 and over. Bring photo ID." Players must tick that they meet them before they can register.
- Lowest and highest rating allowed: players must give a rating in that range. You can still add anyone yourself.
- Self check-in closes at: when players check themselves in on the day, they can do it until this time. After that, staff check them in.
- Questions: choose Add a question (up to 5). Each one can be a short answer, yes or no, or choose one from a list (2 to 6 choices, one per line). Tick Required when every player must answer.
Questions, the rating range and the check-in cutoff come with the Organizer plan.
See who signed up
The same section lists the Waitlist and everyone Signed up online, with their contact, note and answers. Only the tournament's director sees them.
Good to know
- Removing a question, the requirements or the range is clearing the box (or choosing Remove) and saving again. Answers already given stay with each sign-up.
- Answers, contacts and notes are deleted a week after a registration ends.
