Email your players
Write to a division, a tournament's entrants or chosen players from LeagueOrbit, within the sending limits.
The names and results shown are made up (the Maple Street Pool League is a demo organization).
On the Organizer plan you can email players from LeagueOrbit without copying addresses into your own email program.
Write a message
- Open Messages and choose the Email players tab.
- Choose what it's About: league information, tournament information, an invitation, or something else.
- Pick the players:
- Add a group ticks a division's players, a tournament's entrants, or everyone on your list who can get email. Choose Tick this group. - Or tick players one by one. Find a player narrows the list.
- Write a Subject and your Message, then choose Send.
LeagueOrbit tells you how many it went to, and who it wasn't sent to and why.
Who can't be ticked
- Players without an email on your player list. Add one on the Players page.
- Inactive players.
- Players who asked not to get email from you. They used the link at the bottom of a message.
Limits
A message goes to at most 20 players. Your organization can send to 20 players in any 5 minutes and 100 a day. For a bigger group, send in parts. The page shows how many you've sent so far.
What players see
Each message comes from LeagueOrbit and names your organization (and you). At the bottom it says why they got it, with a link to stop email from your organization. Their sign-in and password emails are never affected.
