Score Overlays for OBS and Your Phone, No Tournament Needed
Make a score overlay for pool, darts or cornhole streams in OBS, Streamlabs, vMix or the LeagueOrbit app. Type the names, keep the score, switch scenes, and share control with a scorer.
The names and results shown are made up (the Maple Street Pool League is a demo organization).
An overlay puts the score on your stream. On the Overlays page (My play → Overlays, or search "overlay") you can make one for any match: a practice session, a money match, a friendly. No tournament or league needed.
Make an overlay
- Open Overlays and type a name, for example "Friday stream".
- Press + New overlay. Its page opens with a live preview.
- Type the two names. Press + and − to keep the score. Set First to if you want the race shown.
Put it on your stream
- OBS, Streamlabs or vMix: add a Browser Source, paste the overlay's link, and set it to 1920 × 1080. The score changes within a few seconds of each tap.
- The LeagueOrbit app: Go live → overlay step → My overlays, and pick it.
Keep the link private: anyone with it can show the overlay. Make a new link stops the old one at once.
Scenes and messages
Switch what the overlay shows: Score, the full Scoreboard, Starting soon, Break, Winner, a Message you type, or Hide.
Your own look
Player Plus and Organizer accounts choose the style, the panel, where it sits on screen, its size, and three colours (panel, text, score). LeagueOrbit checks that the colours stay readable.
Let someone else keep score
Press Share a control link and send it to your scorer. When they open it (signed in to LeagueOrbit) they can change the names, the score and the scene, nothing else. Press Stop sharing to end it.
Plans
- Free: one overlay with the LeagueOrbit look, showing the score.
- Player Plus and Organizer: as many overlays as you like, each with its own look, every scene and messages.
Leagues and tournaments
When you stream a league or tournament match from the LeagueOrbit app, pick the match under What are you scoring? If the organizer made an overlay for your table, Go live uses it by itself, with their look, and it follows the matches on that table. If you picked one of your own overlays, yours is used instead. Organizers make table overlays on the tournament or league Broadcast page.
