Cornhole league nights
Set up a cornhole league, choose the games for each night and the games to win, and let players score on the cornhole board.
The names and results shown are made up (the Maple Street Pool League is a demo organization).
A cornhole league works like any LeagueOrbit league: a league has sessions, and each session has divisions with teams. This guide covers what is different for cornhole.
Add a cornhole league
- Switch the Sport switch to Cornhole.
- Open Leagues, and add a league. Its first division is added with it.
- If you list it in Find leagues & tournaments, choose its game: doubles, singles, blind draw or other.
- Add teams and players in Rosters, and publish a schedule.
A league stays in the sport it was made in, and everything about it (players, messages, dues and money) shows only in Cornhole.
Choose the cornhole match format
Open the division's Cornhole match format (match sheets) and set:
- Players a side and the Lineup. Fixed doubles teams are the usual choice.
- Games of the night: each matchup's style (singles or doubles), the game (to 21, 15 or 11) and how many games it is, such as best of 3. Use Add a game for each one.
- Scoring: a point per matchup won, or a point per cornhole game won, and an optional Bonus for winning the night.
Choose Save format. Matches already played keep the format they were played under. Cornhole has no handicap or rating at launch.
Score a league match
- On the match sheet, players set their lineups as usual.
- On a game, choose Score on the cornhole board. The board opens with both sides and the games to win.
- Each game is saved to the sheet as it finishes. Choose Back to the match sheet to confirm the result.
The sheet checks every game against the rules (cancellation scoring, no bust), works out the winners and the team score, and both sides confirm.
Standings and statistics
Standings follow your points and tie-break rules. Every game scored on the board counts toward each player's points per round and bag percentages: see Cornhole PPR and DPR: How the Statistics Are Calculated.
